It is the FREEZE. It's a bold statement. But nonetheless true. Technically, traditional gels are water and carbohydrates simply mixed with syrups, often containing added flavorings and preservatives. The GEL 100 is completely different. It's a biopolymer matrix, filled with a unique blend of fructose and glucose (0.8:1 ratio) that helps absorb up to 100 grams of carbohydrates per hour.

GEL 100 is constructed using natural hydrogel technology and constructed with six natural ingredients. It contains no coloring or preservatives and comes in 40g portions. Each serving contains 60% carbohydrates – a high weight to energy ratio.

INSTRUCTIONS
Consume the gel a few minutes before, during and/or directly after activity.

ENERGY AMOUNT
It is well known that our body can use about 60 grams of ingested carbohydrates per hour, in the form of glucose or maltodextrin (polymer of glucose). Using a 0.5:1 combination of fructose and glucose/maltodextrin allows absorption of up to 90 grams per hour. More recent studies have shown that an increased fructose content above 0.5:1 results in even higher absorption. GEL 100 is based on a fructose to glucose ratio of 0.8:1. One serving contains 25 grams of carbohydrates.

HOW IT WORKS?
GEL 100 is built on hydrogel* technology. The hydrogel allows gentle transport of carbohydrates through the stomach to the intestine where water, salt and carbohydrates are absorbed.
